Route: Bishkek → Song-Kol → Bokonbaevo → Karakol → Altyn Arashan → Chon Kemin → Bishkek

Drive: 302 km / 5 hours
Depart early from Bishkek and visit Burana Tower, an ancient Silk Road landmark. Explore the minaret, nearby ruins, and the museum showcasing fascinating artifacts. Continue through Kalmak-Ashuu Pass with alpine meadows and grazing yaks. Arrive at Song-Kol Lake in the late afternoon. Check into a lakeside yurt camp, explore the surroundings, interact with nomadic shepherds, and enjoy a traditional Kyrgyz dinner under the stars.

Drive: 230 km / 4 hours
Spend a serene morning at Song-Kol, walking along the lakeshore or enjoying panoramic views. After lunch, drive to Bokonbaevo on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. In the evening, witness a traditional eagle hunting demonstration. Enjoy dinner and overnight at a cozy guesthouse.

Begin with Fairytale Canyon, famous for its surreal sandstone formations. Visit Barskoon Waterfall, then explore Djeti Oguz, home to the ‘Seven Bulls’. Arrive in Karakol, visit the Russian Orthodox Church, and enjoy a traditional Kyrgyz dinner.
