Itinerary

Day 1.Almaty & Charyn Canyon

Begin with a guided city tour of Almaty, then journey to Charyn Canyon, where sunset paints the cliffs in spectacular hues. Overnight in Saty Village.

Day 2.Kaindy & Kolsai Lakes

Explore the mystical Kaindy Lake with its submerged forest, then relax at Kolsai Lake, surrounded by pristine alpine scenery. Overnight in Saty.

Day 3.Saty → Karakol (via Kegen)

Cross the border into Kyrgyzstan, arriving in Karakol. Discover its historic Dungan Mosque and Russian Orthodox Church, celebrating the region’s cultural diversity.

Day 4.Karakol → Altyn Arashan Valley

Venture off-road into Altyn Arashan Gorge, renowned for thermal springs and breathtaking alpine beauty. Overnight in a cozy yurt amidst serene nature.

Day 5.Altyn Arashan → Zheti-Oguz Valley

Return to Karakol, then explore the dramatic red cliffs of Zheti-Oguz Valley, known as the “Seven Bulls.” Overnight in a local guesthouse.

Day 6.Barskoon Waterfall & Skazka Canyon

Hike to the majestic Barskoon Waterfall, then marvel at the surreal formations of Skazka (“Fairytale”) Canyon. Overnight at Bel-Tam Yurt Camp by Issyk-Kul Lake.

Day 7.Eagle Show & Song-Kol Lake

Experience a traditional eagle hunting demonstration in Bokonbaevo, then continue to Song- Kol Lake for a magical night in yurts under the stars. Optional horseback riding available.

Day 8.Song-Kol → Kel-Suu Lake

Journey to the remote Kel-Suu Lake, a hidden alpine paradise with striking blue waters and glacier-framed cliffs. Overnight in yurts amidst the mountains.

Day 9.Kel-Suu → Naryn

Enjoy a morning hike around Kel-Suu before traveling to Naryn, absorbing the region’s breathtaking highland landscapes.
