On this tour we will visit the already legendary Köl-Suu Lake, which now attracts the attention of thousands of tourists. They specifically request a visit to this unusual lake, which every few years becomes smaller, exposes its bottom and opens rocky shores with amazing caves. We will also meet a family that sets up yurts for tourists and grazes livestock in these parts of Kyrgyzstan every year.

Important!!!

Most of the travelers ride a horse first time, so if you are not an experienced rider there isn’t reason to worry. Our horses are calm and easy to manage. Moreover, we have an equipments for safe horse riding.

Our office is located in Kochkor town and mostly travelers come to Kochkor by themselves. You can take a shared taxi or you can come by marshrutka (minibus) from bus station.

Bishkek – Köl-Suu lake (460 km / 9 h)

Gathering at the Asia Mountains hotel at 6 in the morning. On this day, we have to cover almost 500 km of the road from the city of Bishkek to the yurt camp which is located near Lake Köl-Suu. We will make stops along the way to warm up, will stop for lunch in the city of Naryn and in the evening we will arrive at the yurt camp. The remaining evening time will be free. You can wander around the surroundings, take beautiful sunset photos and take a break from the long road. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Köl-Suu lake

On this day we will take a walk to the lake Köl-Suu itself (if desired, this can be done on horseback), which is located at an altitude of 3500 m above sea level. It was formed after a landslide that blocked the river, which over time turned into a pool among sharp rocky cliffs. We will organize a picnic on the shore; take a bunch of amazing photos. If there are boats we can ride them for a fee. In the evening we will return to the camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Today the return back to the capital is waiting for us. We will leave the camp in the morning to return to the capital without hustle. Lunch will also be in the city of Naryn in one of the cafes. Another 5 hours and finally we are at home.
