The 4th World Nomad Games will be held from August 31 to September 6, 2026. The
grand opening ceremony will take place in Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, while the
main competitions and cultural events will be hosted on the picturesque shores of Lake
Issyk-Kul.
The World Nomad Games are a major international event that brings together athletes,
artists, and guests from around the globe. The program features traditional nomadic
sports such as kok-boru, wrestling, archery, horse racing, and many more, along with
vibrant cultural festivals, craft exhibitions, ethnographic fairs, and musical performances.

Day Route Highlights
Discovering Bishkek and the Flavors of Kyrgyzstan
Meeting from Airport. City tour by your wish.
We will meet you at the airport and transfer you to your hotel, giving you some time to relax after your flight.
At 3:00 PM, our city tour will begin (2–3 hours) – optional based on your preference. We will visit:
In the evening, we will return to your hotel with great memories and your first bright impressions of Kyrgyzstan.
Nature, Flavors, and a Spectacular Show
The exact start time of the World Nomad Games Opening Ceremony has not yet been confirmed, but based on previous years, it will likely begin around 7:00–8:00 PM. Untilthen, we have a full and exciting day planned for you.
In the morning, we will head to the stunning Ala-Archa National Park, where you can enjoy fresh mountain air and breathtaking natural scenery.
We’ll visit the Sky Bridge – a bridge suspended between cliffs with spectacular panoramic views. We’ll take a walk across, capture amazing photos, and then return to Bishkek at 14:00 – 15:00. Back in the city, you will have time for a late lunch before we set off to the grand Opening Ceremony of the World Nomad Games.

Journey to the Northern Shore of Lake Issyk-Kul
Route: Bishkek → Burana Tower → Cholpon-Ata (250 km, 4-5 hours)
In the morning, your guide will meet you at the hotel, and we will head to the northern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul — the venue for the World Nomad Games competitions.
En route, we will visit:
The drive will take about 5 hours, with a stop for lunch at a cozy café along the way. Upon arrival in Cholpon-Ata, you will have free time to settle into your hotel and relax before the exciting days ahead.
Drive: 250 km / 4-5 hours

Activities: Burana Tower, Petroglyph Museum
Full Day at the Games
Today is dedicated entirely to the World Nomad Games! Experience the thrill of traditional nomadic sports and cultural events.
Competition Venues:
Evening: “Universe of Nomads” Ethno-Festival continues with cultural performances.
Accommodation: Hotel Uya or similar in Cholpon-Ata

Games Day & Evening Transfer
Route: Cholpon-Ata → Karakol (142 km, 2-3 hours)
Enjoy a full morning at the World Nomad Games competitions until approximately 17:00. Continue exploring different venues and experiencing the vibrant atmosphere.
After the day’s events, we will depart for Karakol, the cultural hub of the Issyk-Kul region. The drive takes 2-3 hours along the lake’s northern shore.
Upon arrival, check into your hotel and enjoy dinner at a local café.

Exploring the Southern Shore of Issyk-Kul
Route: Karakol → Jeti-Oguz → Barskoon → Skazka → Bokonbaevo (150 km, 2-2.5 hours)
Today we explore the spectacular southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake:
Arrive in Bokonbaevo village for overnight accommodation.
Drive :150 km / 2-2.5 hours
Accommodation: Guesthouse in Bokonbaevo
Meals: Breakfast
Activities : Jeti-Oguz, Barskoon Waterfall, Skazka Canyon
Journey to the Alpine Lake
Route: Bokonbaevo → Son-Kol Lake (290 km, 4.5-5 hours)
After breakfast, we begin our journey to the magnificent Song-Kol Lake (3,016m), one of Kyrgyzstan’s most beautiful alpine lakes. The drive takes us through stunning mountain landscapes, crossing high passes with spectacular views.
Arrive at a traditional yurt camp on the lakeshore in the late afternoon. Experience authentic nomadic life, enjoy the serene beauty of the lake, and spend the night in a cozy yurt surrounded by nature.
Drive: 290 km / 4.5-5 hours
Accommodation: Yurt Camp at Son-Kol Lake (2 people per yurt, outdoor facilities)

Altitude: 3,016 m
Scenic Return to the Capital
Route: Son-Kol → Bishkek (300 km, 5-6 hours)
Enjoy a final morning at beautiful Song-Kol Lake, breathing in the fresh mountain air and taking in the stunning views. After breakfast, we begin our journey back to Bishkek.
The scenic drive takes us through mountain passes and valleys, with opportunities for photo stops along the way. We arrive in Bishkek in the late afternoon, where the tour concludes.
