Your journey begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Bishkek. Next, drive 45 minutes to Ala Archa National Park, a stunning alpine gorge in the Tian Shan mountains. Enjoy a hike through the park's pristine valleys, with opportunities for breathtaking photography of snow-capped peaks and rushing rivers. After the hike, continue to Supara Valley – a beautiful ethno-complex that recreates traditional Kyrgyz life. Explore reconstructed traditional dwellings, learn about Kyrgyz customs and crafts, and enjoy a delicious local meal in a stunning mountain setting. Then visit the Sky Bridge – a panoramic viewing platform offering spectacular views over Bishkek and the surrounding mountains. This modern attraction provides a perfect perspective of the capital and the Tian Shan range. Return to Bishkek for overnight at your hotel.
After breakfast, drive east and stop at the historic Burana Tower, an 11th-century Silk Road minaret. Afterward, climb to the top for panoramic views of the Chuy Valley and explore the ancient balbal stones. Continue to the beautiful Chon-Kemin Valley, a protected national park known for its pristine nature, dense forests, and dramatic mountain scenery. Upon arrival, enjoy horse riding (1-2 hours) through the valley's forest trails and meadows. The terrain is gentle and suitable for riders of all experience levels. No horse riding experience is required! Our horses are calm and well-trained. Check into a cozy guesthouse nestled in the forest. Enjoy dinner and the peaceful mountain atmosphere.
After breakfast, drive to the dramatic Kok Moinok Canyon, often called Kyrgyzstan's "Grand Canyon." Walk among the striking red sandstone formations sculpted by wind and water. In addition, continue to Ak-Say Canyon – a "Martian-like" landscape of red rock formations. Walk through the canyon, explore the sculpted cliffs, and capture stunning photos of the vibrant colors. Arrive at a yurt camp in Bokonbaevo on the southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake. Settle into your traditional yurt and enjoy a delicious Kyrgyz dinner.
After breakfast, explore the spectacular southern shore of Issyk-Kul Lake:
Experience a captivating eagle hunting demonstration with a local berkutchi – an ancient nomadic tradition passed down through generations. Along the way, watch as the magnificent golden eagle responds to its master's commands
• Skazka Canyon ("Fairy Tale Canyon") – Surreal red, orange, and yellow sandstone formations resembling castles, dragons, and mythical creatures
• Barskoon Waterfall – Powerful cascade in a lush gorge; short hike to feel the refreshing mist
• Jeti-Oguz Valley – Iconic "Seven Bulls" red rock formation and the legendary "Broken Heart" rock
Arrive in Karakol for overnight at a guesthouse.
Board a classic Soviet-era UAZ 4×4 vehicle for a rugged off-road journey into the Altyn Arashan Valley ("Golden Spa"). Finally, the 16-kilometer off-road journey winds through dense pine forests, crosses mountain streams, and climbs through dramatic terrain. Upon arrival in the pristine alpine valley (2,500m), enjoy the famous natural hot springs. Soak in the mineral-rich waters surrounded by snow-capped peaks including Palatka Peak (5,200m). Optional Horse Riding (extra fee): Explore deeper into the valley on horseback – a wonderful way to experience this pristine alpine environment. Stay overnight in a guesthouse in the valley.
After breakfast, enjoy a final morning soak in the hot springs, then descend from Altyn Arashan and drive to Karakol. From Karakol, drive to Bishkek (approximately 5-6 hours). The tour concludes with drop-off at your hotel.
