Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your hotel in Bishkek. You’ll drive approximately 80 km to Chon Kemin National Park, renowned for its lush greenery, dramatic mountains, and tranquil rivers. Spend the day exploring the picturesque valley on foot, taking in the stunning landscapes. Experience the thrill of horseback riding, a highlight of this area, before enjoying dinner at a local guesthouse
After breakfast, you’ll head southeast toward Karakol, situated on the shores of Issyk-Kul Lake. En route, take a refreshing dip in a local hot spring and visit the petroglyphs open-air museum. In Karakol, explore the iconic Dungan Mosque, a beautiful wooden structure built by Chinese artisans for the local Dungan community, and visit the regional museum featuring artifacts from the Issyk-Kul region. Experience the vibrant atmosphere of the local market before visiting an old wooden Orthodox Church. Spend the night in a comfortable hotel.
Today, set out for Jeti Oguz Gorge, known for its striking red rock formations resembling seven bulls. The area also features the famous Broken Heart Mountain. For a panoramic view of the gorge, hike to the viewpoint, which takes about 20 minutes. Afterward, continue to Barskoon Waterfall and Skazka Canyon, where you can marvel at the unique rock formations. Take a refreshing swim in Issyk-Kul Lake before returning to your guesthouse for dinner and an overnight stay.
On your final day, meet a local eagle hunter and learn about the ancient tradition of hunting with eagles. This captivating experience offers insight into Kyrgyz nomadic culture. After lunch, you’ll visit Burana Tower, an ancient historical monument that once served as a watchtower on the Silk Road. Finally, return to Bishkek for a farewell dinner, reflecting on the unforgettable memories created during your journey.
