Reaching Kol Ukok Lake requires a combination of 4×4 vehicles and trekking. Visitors typically start from Jalal-Abad or Osh and travel by vehicle for several hours before beginning the hike to the lake. The trek itself can take 2–3 days depending on the route and conditions, so it is best suited for experienced hikers.
