Highlights of the Tour:
En route, we'll visit the renowned 11th-century Burana Tower, a UNESCO World Heritage site that will captivate history enthusiasts. We’ll spend around 30 minutes here, allowing time to climb the tower, explore the archaeology museum, and view the balbals—ancient stones with carvings. Afterward, we'll continue our journey to Issyk Kul, stopping at the stunning Konorchek Canyon for a short but enjoyable hike. We’ll have lunch at a roadside café before heading toward the southern shore of Issyk Kul. Upon arrival at the Bel Tam yurt camp, situated on a secluded beach, you'll have free time to explore the camp. Dinner will be served in a large kitchen yurt, followed by a bonfire under the starry sky, with an option to sample local beer. We'll spend the night in yurts.
In the morning, we'll set off to the renowned Skazka Canyon (Fairy Tale) for a beautiful hour-long hike. Next, we’ll drive to the nearby village of Ak Sai to experience the captivating art of eagle hunting. The Berkutchi (eagle owner) will explain this traditional hunting method, and you'll even have the chance to try your hand at archery. We’ll enjoy a picnic on the secluded beach, followed by some swimming and sunbathing. Then, we'll embark on a short but delightful hike to the enchanting Canyon of Forgotten Rivers. Finally, we’ll head back to Bishkek, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel upon arrival. Thank you for joining us on this wonderful journey! Goodbye!
